CGRN Exam Stats

The number of candidates taking the CGRN in 2017 totaled 564 candidates, which is an increase from 551 who sat for the exam in 2016. Of the 564 taking the exam, 376 (67%) passed and received the CGRN designation.

Recertification Stats

The percentage of CGRNs seeking recertification remained steady at 52% in 2016 to 2017. Of the 755 eligible to recertify in 2017, 457 nurses renewed their certification. According to survey data, this decline is mostly attributable to retirement.
